Red Cross Racing

Red Cross Racing- Give blood. Get points. Win prizes.

Join the race where everyone wins. When you sign up through Red Cross Racing, you can earn NASCAR and race-related collectibles, all while helping to save lives through blood donation.

Now in its second year, this racing-theme rewards program through the American Red Cross is designed to increase donation frequency during the summer months, a time when blood donations typically slump. Participants accrue points by self-reporting their blood and platelet donations at redcrossracing.com, and then exchange those points for a variety of prizes like caps, T-shirts, jackets and die-cast models. Donors who come to give during particular summer holiday periods may also be eligible to earn double points.

Red Cross Racing is supported through the generosity of the 3M Corporation and Roush Fenway Racing. Join Greg Biffle--blood donor and driver of the No. 16 car-- on the track to help change a life. Learn more info and join the Donor Rewards Program at www.redcrossracing.com.

Donors will be able to utilize the website until January 2010; however the summer program runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The American Red Cross will award double points to participants when activities fall within specific summer holiday periods including:

  • May 22-May 26 (Memorial Day holiday)

  • July 2-July 6 (July 4th holiday)

  • September 4-September 8 (Labor Day holiday)
  • Make sure you watch! Greg Biffle, a Red Cross blood donor and NASCAR driver, will wear the Red Cross fire suit and drive the No. 16 Ford Fusion car with the full Red Cross paint scheme at the Charlotte race Memorial Day weekend and at the Atlanta race on Labor Day weekend.
